Why should I book a professional makeup artist?

Booking a professional makeup/hair artist is one of the best investments you can make for your wedding day. I come to you at your desired location. I curate a schedule ahead of time so we know who goes when, who is getting lashes, and has time to grab coffee! This is the time for you and your wedding party to relax and spend some glam time together.
When you hire a professional makeup artist, you're not just paying for the hour of getting your makeup done. You are paying for experience, education, knowledge, and product. It's our job as makeup artists to enhance your natural beauty as well as staying on time, applying the right products to ensure longevity, and of course making sure your day is stress free!
"When should I book my makeup artist for my wedding?"
Honestly... as soon as you get your venue booked. Especially if you already have an idea of who you want your makeup artist to be. I've had brides book 1-2 years in advance!
"What is required to book?"
I require a $50 booking fee to secure your date in my calendar. I do not hold dates without them. This fee does go towards the final payment.
"Do you travel? How far?"
Yes, I do travel! Though I am based in Louisiana, I provide my services nationally. Depending on location, travel and lodging fees such as hotel fees etc. are to be accommodated for.
"Can I book a trial run before committing?"
You absolutely can! Just keep in mind that a trial does not hold the date.
"Can you accommodate larger parties?"
I can accommodate parties of any size! Keep in mind that it truly depends on your desired time frame if I can accommodate everyone on my own. Depending on the number of people and/or timeframe, I require an additional artist(s) to help assist me.
"What if I don't have an exact head count of people getting makeup?"
If you have members that are undecided, please do not include them in your headcount. Services cannot be subtracted after you book them. On the wedding day if additional members decide they want their makeup done, I will try to work them in if time allows.
"Do I need to bring any of my own makeup?"
Nope! I provide everything! Yes, even lashes!
"What makeup brands are in your kit?"
I carry a variety of well-known brands such as, Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty, NARS, MAC - just to name a few! I only use the best quality makeup on my clients and like to carry mainly high-end brands.
"Do you offer airbrush makeup?"
At this time, I do not offer airbrush. I primarily use cream and liquid products that are formulated for longevity.
"If I don't want lashes, is it going to decrease the price?"
Pricing will remain the same, even if you decide to not get lashes.
" I have sensitive skin/ skin allergies, can you accommodate me?"
I absolutely can accommodate those with skin concerns. While filling out the inquiry, I ask about your sensitivities and areas of concern- that way I can properly do your makeup without you having to worry about a breakout coming up afterwards!
